Cinnamon & Spice is a community created by Maharani to connect young South Asian descent creatives with their audiences and provide a system of support. The initiative began at the creation of a Spotify playlist to provide a platform for the best, high quality contemporary South Asian music, including multilingual music in Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Malayalam and more. Following the success of this playlist at over 2000 saves, on 17th September 2022 Cinnamon & Spice had its first ever live music event in London with over one hundred attendees and an all female South Asian lineup.
